Q-Cloud is now available! Q-Cloud allows you to run Q-Chem calculations in the cloud via Amazon Web Services. We provide a pre-built image and easy-to-use command line interface, so you can start doing calculations as soon as possible.

What to consider

• We offer a free, fully-featured week-long trial license. Please note that unlike the Q-Chem trial, the Q-Cloud subscription automatically renews at the end of the trial period.
• The pricing listed is for entitlement to run Q-Chem in the cloud, and to use the Q-Cloud command line interface; it does not cover AWS compute costs.
• Subscriptions and payments for Q-Cloud are processed through PayPal, although customers can use a credit card if they do not have a PayPal account.
• If you wish to cancel your Q-Cloud subscription, you can do so using the form here. Note that PayPal may need at least 24 hours to process the cancellation; even if you cancel your subscription early, the trial license will last a full week.

Which plan do I need?

How many instances? Unlike a permanent Q-Chem license, Q-Cloud licenses limit the number of instances that can be run simultaneously, with three tiers available: 10 instances, 50 instances, and 100 instances. (Want to run with more than 100 instances? Contact our sales team at sales@q-chem.com for a quote.)

How frequently would you like to pay? Q-Cloud is a subscription, and two payment models are available: 30-day, and Annual. The annual model costs slightly less in the long run, but the 30-day model is lower commitment. Pick whichever model is best-suited to the needs of your company or research group.

Do you have a current Q-Chem license? We are providing a 50% discount to Q-Cloud users who already have a paid permanent Q-Chem license entitlement for the latest Q-Chem (6.2 or 6.3) through the end of this year. Take advantage of the discount while you can!
