Q-Chem President Anna Krylov Awarded Barry Prize

Congratulations to Q-Chem President Anna Krylov on receiving the inaugural Barry Prize for Distinguished Intellectual Achievement from the American Academy of Sciences and Letters (AASL). This award recognizes scholarly excellence across a wide breadth of fields. Prof. Krylov was recognized for her significant contributions within the field of quantum chemistry, as well as her dedication to science communication, mentorship, collaboration, and advocacy.
The award was presented at the American Academy of Sciences and Letters investiture gala, which was held on November 8, 2023 in Washington, DC.
An excerpt from the citation for her prize from the academy reads: "As a theoretical and computational quantum chemist whose description of the electronic properties of molecules impacts bioimaging, solar energy and quantum information science, Anna Krylov has advanced our ability to describe some of the most basic material building blocks of our world."
