Q-Chem Inc. would like to invite you to the workshop entitled "Quantum leap into the future: advances and applications of QM and QM/MM methods". The workshop will take place on 15th of August 2009 (Saturday), in the Laboratory of Computational Biology of NIH, 5635 Fishers Lane, Rockville, MD, room T918. At the workshop a seminar session and a hands-on tutorial session will provide ample opportunities to learn basic and advanced features of the state-of-the-art computational tools in Q-Chem, including QM/MM calculations with the popular MD program CHARMM.
Q-Chem is a leading ab initio electronic structure program, with capabilities ranging from the highest performance DFT/HF calculations to high level post-HF correlation methods, in the gas phase, in solutions, and in proteins using a combined quantum mechanical/classical mechanical (QM/MM) approach.
Interested parties please register at our registration website till the 5th of August. Please bring your own laptop computers (Windows or MacOS) for the tutorials. Software for the tutorials will be provided through downloading prior to the workshop.
